Glenmorangie uses the tallest whisky stills in Scotland in order to produce a spirit of rare finesse and delicacy. After traditional maturation in bourbon casks, the distillery transfers this whisky to Oloroso Sherry casks for the last stage of maturation. This lends a uniquely full-bodied, creamy character with notes of nuts, dried fruit and honey. The Lasanta is never chill filtered, which imparts added body, taste and texture to the spirit.
A Pale lemony gold, The Original has a perfume of mandarin, lemon, apple, pear and peach trees, creamy vanilla, and geranium and wild mint. Flavours of creamy vanilla slips like liquid silk over the tongue as peaches and cream, mandarins and lemons effervesce in the mouth.
